NH Election Fact Check Hub

Seen an election claim you’re unsure about? Send it our way.

The Granite State News Collaborative and participating local newsrooms are working together to check election claims affecting New Hampshire voters—from social media posts and campaign ads to videos and public statements.

This pilot runs Oct. 5–Nov. 10, 2026. You don’t need to know whether a claim is true or false to submit it. We’ll prioritize claims that matter to New Hampshire voters, though we cannot investigate every submission.

You can submit a description, a link, screenshots, or a saved campaign video. For longer videos, a link and the approximate time of the claim are helpful. Your email address is optional.

How we check claims

We review submissions for claims about New Hampshire elections that can be checked against evidence. We prioritize claims that could affect voters’ understanding or decisions, using the same standards regardless of party or candidate.

Reporters examine the original claim, consult records and relevant experts, and seek a response from the person or organization that made it. Each fact check explains what the evidence shows, links to sources when possible, and identifies any uncertainty.

Each fact check is reviewed by at least two editors before appearing on the Hub. We cannot check every submission, and submitting a claim does not guarantee publication.

Latest fact checks

Our first fact checks will appear here as reporting and editorial review are completed. Check back for updates throughout the election season.
